When I lived in Italy, Lebanese Sunday lunches were a cherished tradition for me and my friends. Gathered around the Saj Voyage, we’d make fresh manakish, sharing stories and memories of Lebanon. From za’atar to cheese to keshek, each topping added a layer of fun to our creations, and as we made our bites, we playfully rated each other’s masterpieces. No matter where they go, Lebanese people have a remarkable ability to find each other, forming tight-knit communities that feel like family, and I think that's beautiful.
